Stand Behind Raptorazor

I've always skeptical of new gear or products. I usually don't take anyone's word on things till I use or try out myself. I was the same way with Raptorazor till I got one in my hand, then I was just simply amazed. I wished I would of gotten one a heck of a lot sooner. My team an I have used Raptorazor for cleaning deer, turkey, pheasant an fish to cleaning off rust on caliper bracket an cutting arrows. Simply its just the best knife on the market for anything you need to cut, skin or whatever. I remember when I let my neighbor use my knife for the first time, he swore by his old hunting knife and wouldn't use anything else. Well needless to say he was astonished and has bought 2 kits for himself and 1 for his son.
I was cleaning a pheasant with mine last year took me matter of 3 mins with how sharp an precise the knives are and that bird was clean. Now that the fish filet knives are coming out I know I won't be disappointed in the quality an sharpness as I have been using the regular knives for some fish cleaning. I 100% stand behind any raptorazor product they come out with.

Fun and Easy.

This past season was a tough one for me, work called for an emergency right before deer season so I didn't get out much. When I finally did get a chance to hit the stand, I was hunting for meat more than trophies.
I hit the stand early in the morning, at least an hour before first light, knowing deer would be moving. I actually was going to let her walk, but she sensed something and got spooky.
She sealed her fate when she snorted at me. I drew and made the shot count, she only went 30 yds or so before expiring on camera. Once she was down, it was time to get to work. The Raptorazor helped me clean her up quick and easily. Thanks Raptorazor for a wonderful product that makes the work fun and easy.

Alaskan Moose

"The best knifes I didn't think I needed"
Several months before I headed to Alaska to Hunt Moose and Bear with some friends I discovered Raptorazor at a trade show in SLC UT.  If your like me you already have several knives that can get the job done but I thought what the hell and bought both the MANO and the Big Game Skinner.
Fast forward to September and our group has 3 nice mature Alaskan Bull Moose down in back to back nights! That's a lot of meat on the ground and boy am I glad I brought my  Raptorazor!
The Big Game Skinner is so easy to use! It saved us a ton of time caping and skinning! I was really happy with the straight lines and how effortless it seamed!
If you like Havalon Knives then you'll love the MANO! I still like using my Havalon when going around eyes and lips  but it won't keep up with the MANO anywhere else! Changing blades is safe, easy and I've yet to break a blade in 4 seasons of using them! Now that they have a 5" blade option I'd for sure recommend picking one up. There were times that I desired a longer blade when  breaking down moose.. I've since used the longer 5" blade on Elk which worked great for me!
Bottom line. If your a big game hunter, I highly recommend you pick up a set! You'll be glad you did!

"Can help me butch this deer up?"

Last year in the wonderful month of September my good buddy was out deer hunting and was able to arrow a doe.  He called me and said, "Can you help me butcher this deer up?" I told him I had just the knife for that.  He brought his deer over and we proceeded to skin, slice, cut, butcher and wrap every ounce of meat for our families only using RAPTORAZOR products.  I had told him about the wonderful world of RAPTORAZOR and he was still skeptical.
After he was able to get his hands on them he was very impressed and with each cut he kept saying "WOW, these are awesome!".
Raptorazor knives have proved themselves over and over again and every time I pull them out I make a new believer.
Sharp, durable, heavy duty and built for the job.
These knives are spot on and I wont skin another animal without them.

Thanks Raptorazor!

An Invaluable Tool

Hello, everyone! I am Ricky Geisert from Hardin County, Kentucky. I am a lifelong, avid fisherman and hunter. As a Colorado native, I have experienced the thrill of trout fishing and hunting elk. As a Kentucky resident I chase that American Whitetail, cast for the largemouth bass and stalk the wild turkey. I also enjoy the thrill and challenge of predator hunting. I have had the privilege of getting to know some of the leaders in the industry. During my journey, I have developed friendships with innovators and representatives of the industry that have been game changers.

One of my first sponsors was Raptorazor. As an outdoorsman, it is one of the most convenient and versatile tools that I keep in my gear. With a simple flex of the wrist, the Raptorazor blade smoothly slides through the toughest of hides and fascia. I have been able to decrease the time it takes to field dress because of the ease of use and sharp edge that Raptorazor offers.

With a competitive price point, Raptorazor offers a tool that can be used for many species and various hunting, fishing, and outdoorsman tasks. An interchangeable handle and blade system, made from quality materials and an ergonomic grip, the Raptorazor is an invaluable tool to the outdoor industry and sportsman.

As we head into another Kentucky hunting season, I am excited to see the new products and ideas that will be offered by Raptorazor. I can’t imagine a hunting task without my Raptorazor kit, it has changed the dynamic and environment for me and my entire hunting team. If you are looking for a revolutionary tool, a versatile and ergonomically designed, precision tool, Raptorazor has the solution.

Processing Your Own Game

When processing your own game, it is critical that the beginning of the process starts off on a good note. First you want the kill to be quick and clean. Second you want to recover that animal as quick as possible. Third you want to get that carcass cooling ASAP. The best way to do that is to field dress your kill upon recovery. For those who may not know field dressing is basically getting the intestines and the vital organs out. To do this you need a sharp blade and a skilled hand.
Now I have used many knives to field dress an animal. I have also used different techniques for these knives. Starting from the pelvis and going up to the chest. Starting from the chest and going down to the pelvis. Using two fingers in front of the blade to keep the knife from bursting the gut sack. These conventional methods all work when done right, but accident do happen. Cutting into the stomach by accident is one way to really get things started off on the wrong foot. Not only can the material ruin the meat it can ruin your appetite for a few days.
The Raptorazor’s design makes this crucial process so easy and so quick that I was shocked the first time I used it. Not only does the blade feel good in your hand, it does the job without tearing anything you don’t want to tear into. The Marine blade for old school conventional field dressers like myself was fantastic and the MANO blade was equally impressive. Getting the internal organs out and the skin off without a hairy mess is what any outdoorsman wants, and this combo is the way to do that.
As someone who like to process their own food and tan their own hides, the Raptorazor is the most important tool I carry into the woods and into the fur shed.
God bless,
