The BGS is two knives in one. The concave knife inside the hook can cut up to three inches of tough hide. The blade cuts from the inside out, separating the fur for a clean, precise cut. Spinning the knife 360-degrees around the leg allows for the easy popping of the lower leg joint. The convex knife on the bottom of the BGS was designed after the Alaskan Ulu knife and is ideal for skinning. When the knife housing is laid on the flesh, the blade is slightly elevated and the knife becomes a guided skinner.
The MANO is the perfect complement to the BGS. Once the hide is skinned down using the BGS, the MANO allows the quick and easy removal of the key cuts of meat. The strong, durable and lightweight aluminum housings are finished in either anodized or hydrodipped aluminum.
The MANŌ housing is highly versatile accomodating up to 7 knife blades and two saw blades. The Basic Combo pack includes: 1 BGS housing, 1 MANŌ housing, 2 handles with survival compartment, each with extra screws, Non slip knurling grip, Phillips screw driver for quick disassembly when cleaning and switching out blades, 2 blades (1 for the BGS and 1 for the MANO), 2 guards, carrying case with belt loop and Velcro cover.
