Raptorazor knives are not recommended for dishwasher cleaning as some detergents cause discoloration to the finish of the product. I own the big game Skinner, the mano knive, and the other knives and saws offered by RaptoRazor. I am 70, and active hunter, (white tail deer and wild feral hogs), partially crippled and I hunt alone 99% of the time. I needed tools that can help me get the job done on site since most of the time , i cant pick up and carry or drag my kill out to a nicely organized dressing station. When I decided that i was going to continue hunting, i needed to learn how to dress, debone , gutless, etc whatever it took to reduce my kill to the incredibly healthy meat that I could pack out. I watched youtube videos after video until i stumbled across the raptorazor videos - i was amazed that they focused on the toughest cleaning job of all, wild feral hogs - my primary prey. While i watched them make quick work , i thought , yea right, so I ordered the big game skinner, and the mano knife, and a few other items i saw. Once i saw and tried the products and found that a ots guy like me, could do what i saw on the videos, i ordered the other items. An order mistake (not by RaptoRazor - but by the us mail) , pushed me into contacting the service line - they were awesome, and went above and beyond resolving the initial issue. My raptorazor skinner, knives go into my hunting back pack - next to extra magazines - and cleaning gloves. I recommend also getting the washable game bags - for putting the end products of your cleaning into to pack out of wherever you hunt. Good job RaptoRazor , you and your products are winners. 1. the company sent the the wrong product. i bought the aluminum skinner with extra blades. but i received the plastic model with no extra blades. now the company admits their error, and have said they are sending the correct order to my address in New Zealand. They have given me a tracking order from Fed Ex so i can monitor the delivery. Alas Fed Ex no nothing about this tracking order. I will give the company a reasonable time to correct their mistake, in the event i do not receive the product i ordered . i will reserve my judgment.
